Service Animals

Service animals are most welcomed! We do prefer if the service animal could wear an anti-shed suit to help us maintain and protect the sanitary nature of our space. Service animals are to remain on the floor at all times unless performing a task for you.

Emotional Support Animals

At The Lash Temple, we love all your furry friends! However, In California, Emotional Support Animals do have restrictions. Salon environments are one of these restrictions. We ask that you please leave your ESA in trusted hands outside of The Lash Temple.

ESAs are protected under federal and state housing laws but not the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Please feel free to contact us if further accommodations are required.

A friendly reminder from The Lash Temple and the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), we are allowed to inquire about Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals by asking the following questions:

  1. Is the service animal required because of a disability?
  2. What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?

If your service animal is in fact not a service animal, we are obligated to report the owner to the ADA. Please feel free to contact us if further accommodations are required.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You are receiving a luxury service so sit back, relax and leave your daily stresses at the door. Your appointment will begin with a meet and greet with your service provider where you will go over consent forms. Then you’ll have a consultation to dive into your lash extension desires and be measured for your gorgeous, custom-tailored lashes. After that, you’ll lay down and get comfortable on a salon bed. Once you are ready, your lash stylist will begin by securing your lower lashes with a hypoallergenic under-eye pad and hypoallergenic, latex-free medical tape. You will be asked to close your eyes, and your lash stylist will start applying your custom eyelash extensions. Now you can relax… This is a completely pain-free service. Some guests drift off to sleep, while others prefer to chat with their lash artist. Your lash artist will be nano-misting you throughout your service. Nano-misting is a cooling mist that eliminates the risk of irritation, discomfort, or potential sensitivities that could arise during the service. Once your service is complete, you’ll receive a refreshing saline rinse to replenish the eyes’ moisture and to assure you that any irritants are rinsed away. This step is followed by a complimentary lash blow dry and styling. You will then open your eyes to see your one-of-a-kind eyelash extensions!
The Lash Temple goes the extra mile to give our guests safe, healthy, and quality lash extension services. All of our adhesives are beauty and medical grade. This means the adhesive has little to no fumes and it can get wet immediately. We are a cruelty-free and eco-friendly lash provider. The uncomfortable burning sensation some have experienced from eyelash extension services is caused by adhesives that have high fumes and pose a risk to the health of your eye. The Lash Temple only uses the highest quality products and we take great care to ensure your eyes are not irritated during your service. All of the eyelash extensions we use are cruelty-free, vegan, and have a matte-black, velvet finish. Our color line of lashes is also cruelty-free and vegan. These lashes will never look or feel like plastic. One of the biggest myths about eyelash extensions is that they damage your natural lashes. The true fact is that lash extensions DO NOT damage your natural lashes, improper application by lash artists do! The Lash Temple will never comprise the health of your eyelashes. Our lash artists have been extensively trained to calculate and measure each guest’s natural lashes so they may understand their maxim capacity for extensions. We also only apply extensions to one natural eyelash. Natural eyelashes each grow at a different rate and each eyelash must be treated individually to allow them to continue to grow individually. This is why the service takes time.  The Lash Temple does not use pre-made or “pro” made eyelash extensions in any of our services. We guarantee handmade, customized lashes every session. We believe quality products and a high level of skill are what lead to damage-free, comfortable, and long-lasting eyelashes extensions.
The Lash Temple likes to treat all clients as if they are hypersensitive. All of our eye pads, tapes, and cleansers are hypoallergenic. We also strictly use the purest form of cyanoacrylate (adhesive) on the market to ensure there are no irritants. Every guest is also cleansed and saline-rinsed before and after their services to remove any potential irritants. Typically, adhesive (cyanoacrylate) is the main concern for sensitive/allergic clients. Unfortunately, clients who have previously had a true allergic eruption can not be serviced at The Lash Temple. We would never want to compromise your health, safety, or comfort. As for sensitive clients, it can be tricky. Taking an anti-allergy medication prior to your service should NEVER be advised by anyone other than a doctor. Taking anti-allergy medication will not guarantee prevented reactions. This harmful advice will only delay those potential reactions. The Lash Temple does not do the “patch test” method because, in the case of eyelash extensions, it is not an accurate or safe way to assure a sensitive/allergic guest. If you have any questions or concerns about allergies, sensitivities, or ingredients used in the products used during Lash Temple services, please feel free to contact us.
This is our most frequently asked question. The simple answer is that the two most important factors that will determine your service retention are your own biology, followed by your diligence with aftercare. Everyone’s eyelashes/eyebrows grow and shed. The average person has about 150-180 eyelashes per eye. Most people can lose anywhere from 1-5 eyelashes per day. If your hair grows fast, your eyelashes/brows will too. That means you will need to come in for your eyelash extension fills or keratin services sooner. Typically clients come every 2-4 week for their eyelash extension fills and about 4-8 weeks for their keratin services.

The Lash Temple services everybody! We love enhancing other salons’ work. We will request information about the other salon’s practices, techniques, and products to the best of the guest’s ability. The Lash Temple will also request clear, makeup-free photos of your current work prior to your appointment.

Please be mindful that photos can be deceiving. If we deem the current set inadequate or liability upon arrival, we do have the right to refuse service. In this case, we will not charge any cancellation/rescheduling fees. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
