Our courses are one-on-one, so you are guided through the curriculum at your own pace and also have the unique opportunity to ask about specific topics you want to learn about or other lash-related questions you have! IN PERSON + ONLINE HYBRID: You will only find this exclusive hybrid course format at The Lash Temple. Hybrid courses allow you the flexibility to do the theory part of your course live online with your instructor from the comfort of your own home and then come in on another day for your hands-on training experience in the studio. Our hybrid courses are also entirely one-on-one, so you are guided through the curriculum at your own pace and also have the unique opportunity to ask about specific topics you want to learn about or other lash-related questions you have! ONLINE ONLY: For courses that require no hands-on training, we offer the opportunity to do the entire class live online with your instructor.
All our courses are designed to set you lightyears ahead of other lash professionals in your area and cover aspects of the beauty industry that esthetician/cosmetology school and other lash courses don’t include, such as business knowledge and the artistry behind applying eyelash extensions. We never make you learn on pieces of paper or rubber doll heads which poorly replicate the experience of doing lash extensions. We’ll ask you to bring a model with you for the hands-on portion of the course so you can get real experience.

LASH NOVICE
The Lash Novice course by The Lash Temple is designed to help you generate expert-level results right out of a beginner-level course. From the beginning of your lashing journey, learn modern, cutting-edge techniques from a master lash stylist who successfully runs her own studio and services celebrity clients. Because all of our classes are one-on-one, you also have the unique opportunity to ask about specific topics you want to learn or other lash-related questions you have!
In this private course, you will get individualized attention from your instructor as she covers the basic fundamentals of eyelash application as well as other aspects that go into being a successful lash artist, such as trendy styling techniques and business practices. We never make you learn on pieces of paper or rubber doll heads which poorly replicate the experience of doing lash extensions.
We’ll ask you to bring a model for the course's hands-on portion.
The Lash Temple sets you up for success in your career or business. We cover techniques exclusive to our Lash Temple artists, such as our signature weightless Modern Classic method which creates stunning, natural looks using volume lashes. STYLE BIBLE
The Style Bible course is your new secret weapon as a lash artist. Knowing how to style eyelash extensions is one of the most important parts of being a lash artist and a crucial skill to develop. It’s actually surprising that most lash courses do not cover much about lash styling so there many lash professionals out there who don’t understand styling and instead, follow a one-size-fits-all approach to their lash extension application.

Course FAQs
You do not have to have a cosmetology or esthetician license in order to take classes at The Modern Lash School. However, we do prefer if you have a license or are actively in the process of getting your license as it will make understanding the curriculum easier.
To legally perform eyelash extensions/lash lifts/brow laminations in the state of California, and most states, you must have a cosmetology or esthetician license as well as a salon establishment license for the address of your place of service.
All four courses we offer are available in two different course format options:
